Job summary

The Senior Consultant will specifically undertake the following:

• Provide technology consulting around the clients technology
• Provide leadership and mentoring to team members and customers
• Constructively participate within our technical community to develop and refine best practices and processes
• Provide input to project scope and estimating processes
• Design, development and testing of software in a multi-platform environment in an Agile environment
• Maintain up to date knowledge of our clients and related technology to be able to provide value added consulting to customers Requirements

Daily Responsibilities

• Great organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written
• 7+ years of enterprise application experience within a J2EE environment including Java Server Pages and related technologies (Taglibs, EJBs, JavaBeans, etc)
• 5+ years of experience in the Web and/or ECMS technologies
• Understanding, installation and administration of Web and Application Servers (eg. Apache, Tomcat or JBoss)
• Proficiency in HTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, SOAP, etc
• Experience developing UIs with JS frameworks (Bootstrap, Angular, etc…)
• Experience with building mobile apps using PhoneGap and Apache Cordova
• Optimizing web solution and ensuring performance requirements are met
• Agile development methodology experience
• Strong background in OO architecture, design and development
• Knowledge in ExtJS, Spring or OSGi frameworks, JCR API or RESTful principles is an advantage

NV1 or ability to obtain an NV1 required.
