Due to demand from overseas markets, a successful product development organisation is looking to expand its software engineering team.
Highly regarded as an innovative, unique company at the forefront of their industry, their reach is global.
Their products are acclaimed and highly in demand.
The Development team has created a new position for a talented embedded C software engineer to join the team and learn the technologies. The number of years of experience is not relevant for this role as the employer is looking for a talented engineer with exceptional C programming skills. Due to the wide variety of work available, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in Embedded Linux, OS level programming, device driver development, real-time & multi-threaded code development, and programming on micro-controllers (MCUs).
Skills sought:
- Degree qualified in either Computer Science or relevant Engineering discipline
- Strong C programming skills and skill to work in a memory / hardware resource constrained environment
- Multi-threading
- Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS (~ desirable, not essential)
- Device driver development, firmware development, micro-controllers, kernel (~ desirable, not essential)
