SimCorp Asia Pacific is experiencing a substantial increase in business and to support our growth we are looking for a business support consultant. In this key role you will work with our clients and provide business support & solutions to optimise usage of our systems. Responsibilities

• As a business support consultant, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries regarding the functionality of SimCorp Dimension and do appropriate follow-up with our clients.  You will also make sure that SimCorp lives up to its obligations concerning feedback on the enquiries and the quality of this feedback
• You will be the key contact for some of our clients regarding production support & consultancy and help manage the relationship
• You will also be able to give our customers good advice and propose ad-hoc solutions within the framework of SimCorp Dimension.
• You may be assigned to lead and perform consulting work on client-based projects 
• You will maintain close contact and communicate errors & enhancement requests with local development staff and our colleagues in our central Development Division in Copenhagen
• You will be a specialist in the back-office business domain which includes taxation, accounting and settlements business processes
• You will be trained and mentored to become a specialist in the middle office domain which includes investment risk and investment performance business processes
• You will be based in Sydney and may be required from time to time to work additional shift hours in the Sydney office between 5:30pm and 8pm or 9pm depending on the time of year (note there is a shift allowance).
• Some overseas travel to our clients or head office in Denmark may be required from time to time

Your Profile

• A degree in finance/economics/mathematics/computer science.
• 5 years relevant experience
• Good communication & people skills
• Good knowledge of the Asian market
• You have excellent analytical skills and are used to working in a structured way
• You are good at working on & prioritising multiple tasks at the same time
• Knowledge or high interest in financial issues - theoretical as well as practical
• You have experience in the financial sector in back office operations
• Service-minded and ability to thrive under pressure
• You enjoy working in a team
