Through our development team we have created a solution that outclasses traditional alarm systems. Cammy's unique 'person-detected alarm' feature uses sophisticated software to send our customers alerts only when a real person triggers an alarm event.

We operate at a pretty big scale - hundreds of computer instances, billions of images processed, so we use a variety of technologies:

• Scala when we need fast, scalable services
• Node.js for flexible frontend services
• Swift and JAVA to build nifty iOS and Android mobile apps
• React for high performing desktop and web apps
• We also use all things AWS

What you'll be doing
Our products are growing in scope, scale and number. We're releasing major upgrades constantly and operate full continuous integration. We need tools to help us test our code and provide a real focus on automation. We're not going to tell you how to do it or what to use, although a few members of the team will have opinions that we trust you'll consider.
The "Developer Experience" is a big thing to us - making sure we can spin up new canary environments, have good CLI tools, and making it as frictionless as possible for us to test new ideas and approaches. 
We've got a few new products being developed in Scala - we needed a fast, capable language with more flexibility than our traditional node stack can handle. You'll be guided through all of our latest products - there's more to it, but that would give away the products we're building. 
Ideally, you'll be an accomplished Scala Developer already, keen to work on a customer facing, disruptive technology that really benefits your customers.
Here is what we want and need to see from you:

• You're an experienced Scala Developer, you're a master with Java and you're bored
• You have a good understanding of design pattern and cloud platform
• You've been working in fast moving, consumer driven, web focused envirovnments
• You're interested in being part of a wide team. We hold monthly tech talks internally, and you'd be keen to contribute
