As a Senior Technical Consultant for Squiz you will be responsible in gathering client requirements, facilitating client workshops and helping scope out the project for the full end-to-end project life cycle. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
You will also play a key role in the implementation and configuration of the application to suit the client's needs, as well as, management of any integration and data migration activities with their existing systems.
You will need to be comfortable in presenting technical solutions to the client and providing technical and product training to our partners enabling them to deliver the products competently.
Day to day, you will be:
- Presenting technical solutions to CXO level
- Taking technical ownership of projects and providing technical direction to clients and project stakeholders
- Preparation of technical project documentation and progress reports
- Requirements analysis and client process review, including data analysis
- Quality Assurance and conformance testing
- Work with Product Managers to reflect customer requirements in feature set & road map.
- Manage solution and technical response to customer RFX's
- Testing and issue resolution for custom software projects
- Proactive assessment of emerging trends and technologies
- Effective engagement with all areas of the Company Sales, Support & Development to ensure the Company delivers quality robust services and solutions that are fit for purpose.
Your Profile:
- Extensive experience with web based technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, XML/JSON, working with API's, Databases, Security and System Integrations).
- Proven experience of using integration technologies such as SOAP and REST.
- Familiarity with Linux and the core command line tools are a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in leading technical delivery and development of solutions.
- ITIL and IT Service Management Certification is a plus.
- An ability to be well organized, flexible, proactive and detail orientated.
- Capability to lead both internal and client teams.
- Familiar with full project life cycle.
- Experience documenting implementations in a professional and thorough manner, either alone or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
