My client is a large media company based in the heart of Sydney. They are looking to build a new an exciting team to work on cutting edge technology.

Due to this growth they are looking to take on an experienced Lead/Senior  Developer (5+ years experience). The right person for the role will have experience working on large complex systems from the ground up, strong communication skills and an eye for detail.

You will not come across more exciting projects... They are building new tech from the ground up and have already hired some of the best Engineers in Aus to help support you in leading these projects.

Some of the required skills for the Android Lead/Senior are:

• 5+ years Android development experience (Kotlin and Java) with proven skills in a technical leadership role for at least some of this time
• Strong user interface development skills across Phone and Tablet interfaces
• A quality approach involving Test Driven Development with JUnit and other UI automation tools (espresso, appium, calabash etc)
• You're an advocate of clean code SOLID object oriented design principles and patterns (GoF, MVP, Android architecture components etc)
• A commitment to quality in your work and that of your team. You've help create high quality software through implementation of automated and manual QA processes
• Experience with development processes and tools eg. Git, CI/CD, Crash reporting and more using tooling such as Atlassian JIRA/Confluence, HockeyApp, New Relic and others
• Experience working in agile development teams (Scrum, Kanban, Lean etc)

Strong Unit Testing skills are a must...
