About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will provide project management and support to systems implementations of Comcare through Aveo communities across Australia. You will work closely with a number of cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the business to run major systems implementation projects through all communities
  • Establish project governance and reporting framework for community systems projects
  • Establish and manage quality and communications plans
  • Assist the project team to manage project risks and issues
  • Assist the project team in developing and executing a project change management process
  • Assist in managing the implementation project plan
  • Assist in defining and documenting detailed functional requirements for the software
  • Liaise with information services teams to ensure infrastructure platforms availability for testing and training.
  • Assist project members to create and manage test/UAT programs
  • Assist in training programs and system administration training for new systems implementations
  • Provide support to the go-live process for sites, ensuring effective post go-live support.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in implementation of health care systems, particularly ComCare, would be well regarded
  • Experience in systems implementation/development
  • Awareness of care governance responsibilities in the aged care environment
  • Experienced in the use of systems in a healthcare environment
  • Participation in large scale systems projects
  • Able to operate in cross functional groups to set and achieve project goals
  • Effective communication and experience in transitioning processes and procedures during systems implementations
  • Ability to gather, interpret and communicate complex ideas
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Able to work independently and also function as a team member
  • Able to manage and lead a team
