The IXL Group of Companies is a leading manufacturer, distributor and importer of domestic appliances, metal products manufacturer, specialised metal casting producer and supplier to the solar energy sector. The company is currently updating its ERP business system to Microsoft Dynamics D365 to ultimately service all parts of the business.
To support this major change the company is seeking an experienced Geelong based hands on Applications and Systems Support person to join its Business Systems Team.
Major aspects of the Role include but are not limited to:
- Providing first time and first level support
- Registering and maintaining issues / jobs task list
- Assisting internal customers with reports and enquires
- Developing and maintaining documentation and training
- Working with team members to provide solutions / responses and developing skills and knowledge to handle future requests
- Backup to Infrastructure Co-Ordinator
The Person – experience and technical:
- Demonstrated problem analysis and solution implementation skills
- Familiar with ERP (manufacture, sales, inventory, logistics and finance) in a multi-site business environment
- Sound knowledge of application and systems technology
- Prior experience (at least 2 – 3 years) in application and systems support
- Technical hardware, network skills
- Strong knowledge of MS technology – Windows, MS Office
- Related qualifications in systems application

- Calm under pressure and someone who can structure and prioritise tasks
