We are looking for
You are a talented and self-motivated developer who can help design and develop software platforms enabling the distribution of games to integration partners. You are a proficient coder with a focus on quality, your efforts will focus our teams on rapid delivery of end user value in a quick and competitive marketplace.
You have proven results designing and developing web applications using Java frameworks and ideally exposure to frontend technologies such as JavaScript and HTML5. You understand modern software architecture principles and how and where to apply them, knowing that a one size fits all approach may not deliver the most effective, customer focused goals. You are passionate about producing and consuming APIs, both internal and external.
You can demonstrate knowledge and understanding across a broad spectrum of technologies and have strong software engineering skills. You have a passion and thirst for technology, often spending personal time learning new technologies and approaches that may benefit you in your professional time.

Mandatory
- Strong experience with Java web application requirements, design, development and ultimately delivery to end customers
- Strong experience with Spring IOC and components, for example JUnit, MySQL, JDBC
- Experience developing distributed systems or microservice architectures
- Experience developing web services especially implementing RESTful patterns
- Degree in IT, Software Development or similar
- Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles
- Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies including agile development experience (especially Scrum)
- Working knowledge of SCM tools such as Subversion and GIT.
- At least 3 - 4 years experience in the Australian market.
Desirable
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Experience with test development using automated or scripted UI testing frameworks such as TestComplete, Selenium, Fitnesse, or Rational Functional Tester.
- Experience developing with HTML5 across mobile and desktop platforms
- Experience in games or casino game industry.
- Experience in a high-volume transaction or 'always on' environment.
