Our client based in Perth CBD are currently looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to join their team for the next 2-3 months.

The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for supporting business and process critical systems, such as AHS, IOC, PCS and Cyber security. This role is also the front-line support acting as the single point of engagement and business facing side of IT, supporting up to 10,000 users.

Responsibilities:

  • Initial point of contact for all IT related support request, providing first contact triage, diagnosis and resolution
  • Maintain polite and courteous relations with end users and vendor support at all times
  • Strive to excel by meeting or exceeding the Service Level Objectives
  • Job logging and recording all calls and related activity
  • Follow, create, validate and improve process and work instructions
  • Working with critical business units to support production targets
  • Managing all high priority IT security incidents
  • Managing network and server infrastructure through monitoring and taking lead during any outages

Requirements:

  • ITIL v3 foundation (minimum)
  • Relevant IT accreditation
  • Previous experience working in an IT environment (Minimum 3 years)
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Product suite (eg; Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / Server, Skype for Business, PowerShell, Active Directory), hardware and peripheral knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Experience with relevant ITSM toolset (i.e Ivanti)
  • Strong time management skills and an ability to work to deadlines
  • Attention to detail with all interactions and troubleshooting
  • Excellent written skills for transfer of knowledge through documentation
