As a Systems Engineer you will…

Play a key role in planning, designing, coordinating and administration of LeasePlan's Infrastructure systems relating to computer and end user subsystems. This includes all servers, desktops and virtualization technologies with a particular focus on server and storage systems across our ANZ ICT landscape.
 
What will your day look like?

• Maintain and support our end user computing platform via Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environments
• Design, implement and support our virtualization platforms including Vmware ESX, Vcenter and SRM products
• Provide level 3 administration and support for Microsoft technologies associated with servers, Active Directory and domain services
• Provide level 2 & 3 escalated support from incidents supporting internal and externally managed LeasePlan systems. Administer the LAN / WAN, desktop and telephony environments including running, monitoring, troubleshooting and reporting requirements
• Develop, implemented and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration, usage and disaster recovery.

What we are looking for?

• Someone who loooooves everything IT, systems and users ; passion is really important for us
• A diploma or degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Someone with in-depth knowledge of the following techs:
  • Citrix XenApp / Citrix XenDesktop version 7.X
  • Vmware ESXi version 6.X / Vcenter / SRM
  • Microsoft Server technologies Windows 2012/2016
  • Microsoft Active Directory (AD, DNS, DHCP)
  • AWS Cloud administration and support
  • Server administration – Lenovo X Series / Cisco UCS
• Certifications are always a plus!
• Some knowledge of the below would be handy too:
  • Thin Clients: iGELs UD3 Administratio
  • Storage: IBM V7000/5000 and DS8700/4800 System
  • AWS Cloud transition experienc
  • Consultancy experience in global settin
  • Avaya Telephony administration and suppor
  • Cisco Call Manager administration and support
• Last but not least, a strong collaborative attitude with good communication skills to engage with our users, partners and stakeholders.
