My client is Australia's largest gas and electricity markets and power systems operator. An exciting opportunity has become available to join their dynamic cloud and automation team to work across Azure Cloud.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Provide project support and assistance in the build and operational readiness of Azure tenancy to support enterprise workloads.
- Azure service transition and knowledge transfer to IT Platforms team.
- Automation of Azure operational processes.
- Support Azure AD identity integrated with Active Directory and Azure AD Connect & ADFS for federation.
- Work with SCOM to integrate on-premise and Azure cloud hybrid monitoring and management
- Work with IT teams to establish continuous development toolchain and setup practices to establish Infrastructure as Code.
Technical Requirements to succeed in this role:
- Proven enterprise experience with Azure cloud and infrastructure management
- Large Azure tenancy/ large enterprise experience (e.g High availability/ Highly regulated industry / 200+ servers/ multi-site distributed team)
- Proven experience with Powershell scripting, automation tooling and provisioning/orchestrating
- Experience with Azure AD, Active Directory & ADFS
- Able to implement Exchange hybrid mode and the environmental changes required to support it, including changes to firewalls, proxy, DNS, mailbox replication service
- Used to working in ITIL compliant environment
