The role
Permanent t role with a well-established global digital agency based in the heart of Surry Hills. With a growing client portfolio and interesting projects on the horizon, they are looking for a mid-level Front End developer to join their close knit digital team.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Sales team for campaign brief and conceptual brainstorming sessions
• Create and advise on HTML5 mobile creative executions defining the best way to technically & creatively achieve client outcomes using a mobile campaign
• Developing landing pages and website pages with database configuration
• Developing gamification experiences for rich media mobile ad units and tablet devices
• Developing real-time dynamic creative ad units using API and database
• Work collaboratively with the Designers, and other Developers in a flat structure
• Develop and code with an excellent understanding of what user actions need to be recorded and measured
• Provide regular updates to the Head of Production on WIP status, ensuring that deadlines are communicated and met effectively
• Proactively source cutting edge creative ideas to ensure deliverables are at the leading edge of brand campaigns across mobile, tablet and other digital platforms
• Mentor and coach a junior Front-End Developer ensuring two way communication results in the continuing growth of his/her professional competencies
• Contribute to the team environment through collaboration, innovative approaches and the sharing of ideas and experience

Key skills

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years experience of working in a front end or creative environment
• Advanced coding skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP
• Experience with CSS pre-processors and responsive grid system
• Proficient in design software such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Adept at design and a solid understanding of UI/UX                             
• Good understanding and awareness of W3C web standards
• Proven experience of interpreting designs/wireframes into front end development in a fast and effective manners
• Demonstrated experience in Front End QA/testing                                
• Experience of working in a small to medium sized company
• Experience in making decisions independently as well as within a team environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small creative team
