Change Coordinator (ITSM)

Green Light are looking for a Change Coordinator to join our project delivery team. Working on a large enterprise client, you will coordinate and ensure that changes to IT infrastructure are controlled and managed through standard procedures to minimize the impact to IT Services.

As the Change Coordinator you will coordinate the change implementation with program / customer teams, you will provide direction for the change management practice for all program staff / customers and you will support the business in implementing successful change with minimal impact.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure change procedures are in place that meets the business needs. 
  • Ensuring the Change Management Practice is compliant with the Change Management Process
  • Coordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities, including meetings to ensure change indicators are present and prepared for change review, including approval or rejection of all changes. 
  • Ensure changes have been technically assured and compliant, both internally and with all 3rd party vendors. 
  • Perform follow up on all changes and review and maintain change management standards and policies. 
  • Drive reduction of unscheduled and unapproved changes. 
  • Review and report on SLA performance related to change and team compliance
  • Provide adequate support for business projects ensuring they are implemented with accordance to process and with minimal disruption to existing IT Services. 
  • Work closely with internal and external teams across the business to facilitate collaboration and compliance with change management process.
  • Ensure statistical data is maintained and reported to management, team and client as required.
Skills:
  • Typically university qualified with at least 5 years work experience in a Service Management environment,
  • Proven practical experience with ITIL, the best practice framework for IT Service Delivery & Service Management
  • Collation of monthly reports and the like essential.
  • Customer and business facing skills and experience 
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and vendors 
  • Ability to chair and coordinate CAB meeting, following up as needed 
  • Experience in implementing change processes and procedures
