This is a great opportunity to work with a leading & global mining technologies supplier that is transforming mining operations through its operations control suite, autonomous & semi-autonomous mining equipment. The focus of this role will be to provide application deployment, support & training to dealers and customers using the Mine Truck Fleet Systems within Australia and Underground Semi-Autonomous Haulage system within & outside of Australia.
- Set up the complete system to meet the commercial contract and site specific needs
- Support the implementation of system modules to specification and configure modules based on requirements gathered from customer's business analysis
- Follow project management process & implementation assignments
- Planning & execution of integrated testing & customer acceptance testing
- Technical problem identification & resolution including responding to customer questions
- Provide implementation technical training to end users & system administrators
- Perform implementation & integration tasks for internal & external customers
- Assist with documentation, training & functional specifications
- Provide basic training on the standard implementation process
For you to be successful in obtaining this role you will need to possess the following:
- Technical Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience or 4 years experience in a related technical role
- Software system implementation, preferably in a mining environment
- Experience of operating systems (Windows), database systems (Oracle/SQL), programming or scripting languages (Java, Python), reporting systems (Business Objects), virtualisation technologies (VMWare / Hyper-V)
- Experience with IT system architectures and enterprise level computing hardware / infrastructure
- Experience with integrating information technology and electronic systems, including data warehousing, electronic work flow integration or control and monitoring systems
- Familiarity with one or more project management tool
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Experience with Mine Haul Truck Fleet Management implementations or Underground Mining Technologies is highly desirable
The role is based in Perth and will involve intrastate, interstate & possibly international travel for up to 50% of your time.
