Our well established and esteemed client is seeking services of skilled and enthusiastic Senior Desktop/Technical Support Officers to join their IT support team and assist them in looking after valuable projects.
To be considered for the role you will need the following skills
· Providing level 1 and 2 technical support to end users.
· Desktop Support experience
· Experience with Windows and Linux server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS)
· Knowledge of L2 and L3 networking concepts
· Experience with hardware builds, installations and roll-out
· Solid experience with end user technology support
· Broad knowledge in the use of a wide range of software and hardware technologies including desktop, network, and cloud based systems
· Working knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodology.
· Proven effective oral and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
· Must have strong interpersonal skills; good telephone manner and an ability to analyse and prioritise an issue.
