Our client, is growing their development team and seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails full stack developer to join the Sydney Development team.
- Salary on offer is up to $130 base plus super
- This role is located in Epping
Over the past 9 years they have grown and now provide a range of products and solutions to over 180 customers across Australia, and soon expanding globally. They provide dynamic data integration solutions ensuring customers people, partners and systems all work together - sharing data to achieve business success.
To be successfully, your skills will include the following:
- Sound experience in commercial full stack Ruby on Rails development experience.
- Strong skills with a Relational Database (ideally PostgreSQL) and SQL.
- Experience with at least one other database (eg: MongoDB/dynamodb/Redis etc).
- Familiar with frontend web programming (HTML/CSS/Javascript/Jquery).
- Experience/basic skills with background job/batch processing.
- Experiences with APIs (Rest/SOAP) development and integration.
- Experience deploying/running web applications on the cloud (ideally AWS/Heroku/Engine Yard).
- Experience with TDD/BDD and tools.
- Familiar with Linux environments.
- Understanding or used Agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
- Experience and passionate in building highly scalable, performant and secure applications using cutting-edge technologies.
Other nice to have skills include:
- ReactJS/AngularJS programming;
- Experience with asynchronous message queue technologies
- Experience in system integration and e-commerce systems
- Experience with production support and customer consultation
