We are an expanding business in search of a Windows Server / Cloud Specialist. Candidates will have extensive experience with Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 and public cloud platforms like Office 365, Azure and AWS.
The role will include the planning, migration and support of workloads in a range of environments including on premise, private and public cloud infrastructures. A typical workload would include Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory and the hybrid co-existence of these platforms.
The successful applicant will be a flexible, team orientated person that is excited about being part of a rapidly growing business.
This will be considered a senior position within the organization with the successful candidate expected to make decisions and work autonomously.
Responsibilities of the Windows Server / Cloud Migration Specialist include:
Technical pre-Sales assistance.
Environment auditing with the ability to calculate workload requirements and identify key elements of a migration.
Liaise with customers and engage key stakeholders to plan and schedule migrations.
Provide migration and support services for Active Directory, Exchange, SQL and other associated technologies.
Knowledge transfer upon successful migration
REQUIREMENTS:
5 + years' experience with administration and configuration of Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 /2016, plus experience with server and cloud migration.
Knowledge and experience administering Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, Identity Management, SharePoint Online
Windows Server experience in Production, Development and QA environments
Knowledge and experience with Virtualization technologies including networking and storage
PowerShell / Scripting experience
MCSA or higher level Microsoft Certifications are strongly preferred
VCP or other VMware Certifications are strongly preferred
Self-starter with good oral/written communication
