Our Client, a highly esteemed Federal Government Department specialising in international matters is seeking the services of a .Net Developer / Application Developer with a minimum 5 years experience in Microsoft .Net and a proven record of accomplishment.
The primary duties of the .Net Developer / Application Developer will include:
- Ability to provide specialist technical services to the Department for development, delivery and support of bespoke business applications in development and in use across the department.
- Complete asigned tasks and applicable project milestones.
To be considered for this .Net Developer / Application Developer contract you must possess:
- MS Visual Studio, MS Team Foundation Server, .Net/C, MS SQL Server databases, ASP.Net, MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript/jQuery, Ajax, LINQ, XML/XSLT, PowerShell scripting, and developing N-Tier applications.
- Highly developed application design, development, and implementation skills.
- Willingness and ability to contribute to continuous improvement & maintenance of application development, quality assurance, support, and management frameworks for ICT Service Delivery.
- Experience creating and maintaining web-sites and web-applications that are compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
- Experience creating and maintaining applications that are secure and meet security assessment criteria. Including familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual; experience with secure coding standards e.g. Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP).
