This Australian owned IT company with an international presence, have forged a reputation for designing, developing and maintaining quality business critical software applications for their client base. Their success means that they are growing and expanding their operations and require a Java Developer to join them.
With a strong client base both in Australia and overseas, this role will see you primarily responsible for developing and supporting Java enterprise applications, while working to ensure that any issues are resolved in order meet agreed delivery times with clients. In addition, you will assist with development estimations based on client requirements, and keep up to date with the latest technology trends.
To secure this excellent role you must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience working with enterprise Java applications. You will also have knowledge of, and experience with the following technologies:
- Java and associated frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate.
- RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server.
- Source control such as Git, Subversion.
- Unix, Linux and Windows environments.
- JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, HTML and CSS.
- Agile development methodology and environments.
- Test Driven Development.
- Web Services including SOAP and REST.
Finally you be an exceptional communicator, passionate about programming and enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a close knit team. Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, or similar along with certification in Java will be highly regarded.
