Kelly Services is recruiting for one of their eminent client for an urgent opportunity - candidate who can step in as Level 2 IT Operational support respond to incidents , systems and technologies . Responsible of the production environment of the department.
The role is for 12 months with potential extension. Based on the Departments need the role will work on a rostered (potentially rotational) shift basis.
IT Operations Support Analyst
Execute IT operations activities to ensure availability and performance of departments systems and technologies and respond to incidents as a result of technical issues. Moreover, as custodians of the production environments, manage the currency of production environments by executing production deployments.
The requirement that this role will work on a rostered (potentially rotational) shift basis.
Key accountabilities:
• Respond to incidents allocated to Level 2, either resolve or investigate and triage to appropriate resolver group.
• Respond to service monitoring alerts with corrective actions; including adjustment to infrastructure capacity requirements.
• Assess and reprioritise incidents if required and escalate to Major Incident Manager to provide timely expert advice.
• Build and maintain key relationships with users, technical staff and stakeholders to determine and resolve issues.
• Provide reports and feedback as required, including management, customer requested analysis and a range of other business analysis reports.
• Deploy changes into production environment as per deployment instructions, ensuring production changes undergo appropriate scrutiny with appropriate levels of testing and rollback plans commensurate with the risk of the change.
• Research, analyse and review complex issues and provide independent, strategic advice, problem resolution and reporting to stakeholders, to ensure business objectives and improvements are achieved.
