This is a great opportunity for an effective team player, good problem solver and quick learner to join premium information technology solutions provider in North Sydney. They are looking for a Junior person with at least 1 year commercial work experience and good knowledge of server/ networking/ cloud.  The Service Desk engineer will provide phone, email, remote access and occasionally face to face support.

Skills and expertise required:
  • At least 1 year professional experience
  • Good knowledge of desktop hardware
  • Some knowledge of server hardware
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS & office
  • Experience in any of the following - Networking, Wifi, Security, Azure, Private Cloud (VMWare / Citrix), Video Conferencing, VOIP
Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident classification and logging
  • Remote user support
  • Application support
  • Desktop and Laptop builds
  • Incident ownership and escalation
  • Liaise with vendors and other third parties to arrange repair of faulty equipment or service
  • Server hardware builds
  • Ensure response and resolution targets are met
