A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking a Senior Splunk Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Joining a newly-created team, the key focus of the position will be engaging with business stakeholders from across the business and guiding them through the on-boarding of their application onto Splunk, including the building on dashboards.
This role will suit candidates who have come from a strong IT infrastructure background and who like engaging with and assisting customers and stakeholders. You will also be proactive and be happy to use your initiative to troubleshoot and resolve issues around Splunk as and when you identify them.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and / or relevant industry certifications
- Demonstrated infrastructure engineering experience gained within large, complex IT environments
- Strong knowledge and experience with Splunk, in particular on-boarding applications onto Splunk for monitoring purposes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with superior stakeholder engagement skills and a strong customer focus
- Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Team player with a can-do attitude and ability to deliver to tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently with little direction
