Based in the Western Suburbs, this role is working for a Cyber Security team who have a lot of new projects in the pipeline. This role offers a flexible working arrangement and the chance to work with a very strong team on the latest and greatest in Cyber Security technology.

This business are looking for a strong Change and Communications specialist who can help them operationalise a number of new applications that they are implementing into their environment. The role would suit somebody from an analyst background who has held senior or lead positions in change and comms previously.

This candidate should have worked as a change specialist within technology teams if not specifically within a Cyber Program. 

The Role:

As part of this role you will need to understand how to manage stakeholders and understand which stakeholders will need to be communicated to; in both written documentation and verbal communication.
Ideally this candidate will have technical understanding and have worked on technology change work before, in a change specific role. They will need to understand the purpose of the technology / application and be able to facilitate the change process from end to end to ensure minimum disruption to the end users in the business.

This candidate MUST have experience writing IT communication documents and be able to define change management process for new projects. They must have strong stakeholder management experience and understand / be able to learn quickly how the solution will impact the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and assess the impact of change to people, processes and systems to ensure that organisational change strategy and transition planning is fit for purpose 
  • Review existing business process design to assess organisation and role impacts and design new business processes accordingly
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to identify requirements, gather appropriate and accurate data, check data integrity, produce required outputs and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Undertake stakeholder analysis and maintain stakeholder engagement plans that support the development and implementation of the communication strategy and plan
  • Support the development and maintenance of the change management plan, monitoring change progress and highlighting where re-alignment is required. 
Experience Required:
  • Experience as a Change and comms Analyst - with specific change focus for at least 3 years within technology teams
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications and/or experience in the implementation of business improvement change initiatives 
  • Demonstrated experience with change management methodology and preparing change plans and associated documentation 
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple data source and the ability to collect, analyse and present findings. 
  • Analytical and problem solving skills in identifying improvement opportunities with the ability to formulate and prepare detailed reports 
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating and presenting information with multiple stakeholders at all organisational levels 
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Visio, and demonstrated ability to prepare presentations and documents 
  • Strong organisational and time management ability to plan, prioritise and complete work with competing priorities within allocated timeframes 
  • Proven ability to communicate information and ideas logically to suit the needs of different target audience groups
