Senior Software Development Engineer

Reporting in to the Lead Engineer, the successful incumbent will be a member of the cross-functional software delivery team and will be responsible for operational support, systems development, automation and monitoring.
 
You will be working directly with the CEO and CTO to develop the required solution.
 
Responsibilities:

• Strong engineering skills and competency in one or more language. Ideally at least one scripting language and one compiled language.
• Comfortable working with .NET and MS SQL on Microsoft Azure.
• A pragmatic and efficient approach to engineering.
• Proactively seek domain specific knowledge and apply it to invent amazing solutions that make complex systems easy to interact with.
• Calm, flexible, diligent, and can think big and deliver to the grand visions that you help to define.
• You love to be criticized and you view failure as an opportunity, but you are annoyed enough by it to fail in different ways going forward.
• You are respectful when you critique others, and are a respected mentor and team leader.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or computer science or related discipline.
• Strong development skills with the ability to analyse
• Superior problem solving skills and technical integration skills.
• Deep understanding of the full development processes.
• Experience working in a diverse team with tight development deadlines
• Excellent analytical skills and verbal/written communication.
