Short Description: Work on a variety of critical client engagements with some of Australia's largest and most successful clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Prepare, plan and manage activities which feed into project plans within small to medium projects without direction or guidance
• Apply analytical and problem solving techniques to extract information from various stakeholders and demonstrate an understanding of the requirements attributes without direction or guidance.
• Define and execute required activities, including stakeholder engagement, to source the relevant information to understand and assess a problem and recommend an accepted solution.
• Facilitate collaborative activities with diverse participants to achieve shared goals, ensuring joint responsibility for outcomes.
• Effectively identify all the relevant internal and/or external stakeholders; plan and execute the appropriate engagement approach to achieve the required outcomes.
• Demonstrate personal responsibility for outcomes or commitments that are not achieved and implement corrective action to mitigate recurrence.
Skill / Experience Requirements:
Essential :
• IBM Middleware stack administration skills
• Middleware support background with production / non production systems
• Level 2 and Level 3 operations support
• Process and Tools to support Middleware instances.
• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
Preferred:
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IBM middleware products administration involving MQ, IIB, WAS, DataPower.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Production / Non –production support for middleware.
• Hands-on experience in MB & MQ Administration & Development, DataPower Administration, WAS Administration & Development.
Additional Skills:
• Excellent customer interfacing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
