Schots Home Emporium Is an Australian family run renovations retailer which offers a great range of the latest and heritage products including lighting, fireplaces & mantles, bathrooms, doors & door hardware, furniture & homewares. We sell Retail, Wholesale and Online.
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced IT Manager/Administrator. The role will involve hands on project management & day to day internal support & customer service. In this role you will also be responsible for mentoring a junior IT staff member & developing them.

The position involves:
- Installing, diagnosing, deploying, repairing, maintaining, supporting and upgrading all hardware and equipment including PC, printers, phones and tablets, to ensure optimal performance
- Enforce day-to-day system and network security
- Installation of software upgrades and patches.
- Continuously implement system improvements
- Project related activities
- Learning our ERP system & liaising with our 3rd party supplier
- Liasining between our eCommerce Team, management & our web developers to improve and enhace our ecommerce website
- Maintain backup and recovery processes
- logging & actioning of break fix issues
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in:
- Strong in Microsoft OS and Software administration both Server and Desktop products.
- Competent in backup systems administration.
- Strong demonstrated history and expertise in Vmware.
- Strong skills in Windows Server 2012 DC and Group Policy
- Experience managing Remote Sites via RDP/TS 2012
- Basic knowledge of service call/ticket management systems.
- Knowledge of ITILv3
- Min 5yrs experience desktop support within a busy retail environment
- Project and Change Management experience
- Vendor management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivation to continually improve current systems
