Your brand role will see you lead the team to build capability, provide thought leadership and mentor the team to drive operational excellence predominantly focused on the Networks, Telephony, Backup and Data Centre.

Key accountabilities

• Drive operational excellence within the function whilst enabling the delivery of enhancements and projects
• Ensure the team maintains industry, technology and IT best practice across the technology stack under your leadership
• Apply expert knowledge in service management to continually improve the reliability, capability and processes and supporting functions 
• Effectively manage the demand pipeline and workforce allocation across IT support and project delivery
• Champion opportunities for new improvements that are fit for purpose, sustainable and meet business needs
• Be a key contributor to the evolution and implementation of the IT Strategic Plan

Skills and experience

• Demonstrated team or technical leadership, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in managing and developing and coordinating a team of experienced technical staff, prioritising work effectively to meet demand
• Proven ability to negotiate with and influence a wide range of stakeholders
• Significant attention to detail with a focus on process improvements to improve the quality of service delivery
• Background in enterprise solutions in the following technologies; Routers and switches, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Cloud and Backup
