Senior Business Analyst

Endeavour Foundation is a fast growing for-purpose national organisation with over 5,000 staff plus volunteers, providing support and services to people with a disability in over 300 locations nationally. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is being implemented and is a landmark time of transformation within our sector, providing an opportunity for you to be at the forefront of one of the biggest organisational change and people transformation journeys in Australia.

As a member of the Technology team, this role exists to ensure that appropriate analysis and planning is undertaken and completed to a high standard, resulting in the flawless execution of projects. Duties will include:

• Undertake project activities such as planning, process reviews, requirements gathering, analysis, testing, implementation and creation of documents.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with others, including managers, co-workers, other internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to identify changes in project scope and schedule.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Prioritise and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

About You

We are seeking someone with the following attributes and experience:

• Proven working experience as a Business Analyst in the Information Technology sector.
• Five plus years in a Project or Technical role, including performance of analysis, planning, system changes and testing tasks.
• Substantial level of communication skills to effectively develop relationships at varying levels of the organisation (managers, end users, vendors).
• Substantial level of problem solving skills, implementation of system changes, system and user acceptance testing.
• Substantial level of skill in the preparation and maintenance of documentation, such as requirements, functional design, process maps, testing, and procedures.
• Demonstrated substantial ability to set priorities, plan and organise own work, plus demonstrate a level of self-management.
• Experience in working within a Microsoft environment.
• Full life-cycle experience (including design, development, testing, debugging, etc.) in the delivery of a wide variety of enterprise software solutions, including customer management/relationship solutions.
• Good understanding of and ability to apply the principles of software design, design patterns, operational characteristics of systems, and networking.

Prior to commencing with Endeavour Foundation you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check and hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue card).
