Since 1999, Gratex Australia has been a leading business systems solution provider for the Insurance Industry, providing software application development, cloud strategies, and end-to-end IT services.

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to grow and learn in the software development team. The position is suited for experienced BAs with a degree in IT, Finance, Commerce, Maths, Science.

As a Business  Analyst your role will involve:

• Ensure that the business requirements of clients are fully understood, defined and documented
• Provide clear specifications for solution architects and developers
• Provide support to project leaders and junior Business Analysts

Skills & experience

• 2 - 3 years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a client-facing role in medium sized organisations
• BA experience (preferably not gained from working in a large company, following a rigid methodology)
• Experience in analysing business problems, determining appropriate solutions and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
• General Insurance experience
• Preferably with UML experience
