We are looking for a talented a Java Developer to join a team of engineers working to help us deliver a high-performance, quality ecosystem of billing microservices to Australia's most exciting telco.

What you will do

As a developer in our team, you will:

• Work directly with the customer to define, design, develop and deliver new features to the product
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a creative and agile team
• Contribute ideas to improve our culture, development tool-chain and methodologies 

Technical experience

You'll fit in well with our team if you have a drive to deliver, take pride in the quality of your work, enjoy finding creative solutions to challenging technical problems, and can work with others to overcome roadblocks and get the job done.

You should have:

• 3+ years software development experience in Java
• Some knowledge of common integration technologies (SOAP, REST, JMS, Kafka etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and learn independently
• Completely at home in a Linux environment

Our technology: Bonus points if you have worked with this tech!

• Experience in Microservice architectures and the technology which often supports them (Docker, kubernetes, etc.)
• Relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle)
• Java EE
• Integration frameworks/technologies (Apache Camel, CXF, ActiveMQ, Kafka, etc.)
• A sophisticated development, packaging and release tool-chain (Atlassian Jira/Bamboo, Maven, Jenkins, Gradle etc.)

Telecommunications industry experience will also count in your favour.
