This is a unique and newly created 12 month contracting opportunity for a System Integration Deployment Manager to be involved in the execution phase of a major project. 

Following a successful pilot implementation, the team are now ready to start the “execution phase” to successfully implement an EAM and Mobility integrated software to their end Client.  The solution includes pre-existing software applications already used by the end client, new software applications purchased and configured by software vendors and custom interfaces as well as data extraction and import tools.  A separate instance of this solution will be deployed to each site.

The System Integration Deployment Lead is responsible for site data readiness and site specific data remediation, site data load, assistance to the business readiness team, site acceptance testing, go-live preparation and support, and post go-live support.

The System Integration Deployment Manager will undertake the following tasks:

  • Prepare for go-live and provide training support to all business including supporting the Change and Training team through go-live process
  • Close monitoring of project activities to ensure all site deployment pre-requisites have been completed
  • Produce regular data extracts and reports and photo extracts as required to support go-live
  • Detailed planning of the site deployment, resource requirements and scheduling, documentation requirements and deployment reporting
  • Coordinates installation/user configuration in all Production software environments and coordinate site acceptance testing, logging of defects, and site acceptance
  • Carry out initial data migration/load
  • Coordinate and oversee post go-live support
  • Manages the transition to on-going support
  • Manage and maintain deployment and as-built documentation

 

Requirements for the role:

  • Extensive experience covering both infrastructure and software deployment projects
  • Extensive experience working with EAM and Mobility software
  • Ability to quickly understand business and technology environments and identify, document and communicate easily understood key messages for a broad variety of audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Able to coordinate with various teams in the development, integration, verification and validation of the solution hardware and software
  • Understands organisational change and considers the transition requirements when implementing the solution at site, working closely with the business readiness stream
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills – particularly in Project, Word Excel, and Visio
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
