An opportunity exists for a junior help-desk analyst to join a large automotive client in North Ryde. You will be providing level 1 technical support over the phone and face to face, as well as getting involved in project work such as fixing/configuring hardware such as laptops, phones and other devices.
This role will ideally suit someone with 6-12 months IT experience or will suit passionate graduates looking to start their careers in the IT industry.
Duties:
- Providing level 1 help-desk support and resolution to software and hardware issues across Windows technologies, in - house applications, PC's, Laptops, mobile devices, printers, etc.
- Performing user account administration maintaining appropriate user access in the various systems and software
- Logging all requests in the Helpdesk system and maintain accurate notes on status, resolutions and escalations
- Developing and maintaining documentation and ensure adherence to the IT policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Tafe certifications or a university degree in IT.
- 6-12 months IT support experience (desired)
- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange & other Microsoft technologies.
- A driver’s licence as there may be the requirement to travel to different sites on occasions.
- Strong communication skills and someone who is a team player!
