Our well-established Banking client are looking for an experienced Java/Python Developer to join the team and help with their database automation platform. The team are providing an infrastructure automation platform to help support internal IT teams with their project requirements.
Role:
- Join the Infrastructure business unit developing automated databases to help support internal application teams
- Aim to reduce manual processes/ticketing systems within the database space and create an automated database infrastructure setup
- DevOps approach in that you will own your work but not a DevOps specific role
- Work closely with existing SMEs within the database automation area
- Team-focused Agile environment where continuous improvement and partnership are prioritised
- Assist the team with adding client specific regulations to automated solution outcomes
- Java Development expertise (core Java)
- Python Development experience- highly beneficial but not a neccessity
- Ansible software package exposure a plus
- Analytical thinker and problem solving capability
- Excellent communication skills
- Passionate about new tools/technologies within the cloud/automation domain
