About the Job

In this newly created role you’ll work with a variety of stakeholders, including vendors, to provide technical support, undertake solutions maintenance, contribute to online solutions design and a focus on API’s and other data integrations. You’ll do so in a way that supports data management frameworks, practices and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Day to day management and resolution of all integration gateways and API incidents and requests according to agreed SLA’s
  • Create and maintain a master catalogue of API’s including their use in customer and business facing applications
  • Coordinating maintenance and support activities with external vendors and internal stakeholders in a professional and quality manner
  • Ensure alignment of integration gateways and API design with Rest’s technology and business requirements in consultation with relevant stakeholders
  • Implement and manage deployment of changes to all integration gateways and API environments including developing, writing and/or maintaining technical documentation and training for supported solutions
  • Create test scripts and undertake release verification testing for all integration gateways and API upgrades and deployments to ensure systems reliability and minimal business disruptions

About You:

Ideally, you’re already a technical support role for API’s looking to take a step up or looking to join a market leader. Aside from highly-developed communication skills, high attention to detail, organisational skills, the ability to work alone and in a team, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously, you’ll also bring to us:

  • Tertiary Qualifications or Equivalent experience in IT
  • Solid understanding of integration infrastructures and API’s, WSO2 is highly desirable
  • 2+ years Linux system admin experience
  • Proven experience monitoring, analysing, troubleshooting and resolving API incidents, problems and root causes
  • Proven experience coordinating and executing change for integration gateways and API upgrades and patching according to defined outage parameters
  • Demonstrated experience writing test scripts and performing testing for new and upgraded integrations gateways and API solutions
  • Experience with work management tools such as JIRA
