For a global tech company, Randstad Technologies is currently seeking a Data Centre Technician for a 6 month contract opportunity based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. This role is start ASAP, latest within 2 weeks.
This is a junior/mid-level role and our client is looking for someone motivated to learn and up-skill. You will eventually be given a lot of responsibility and will look after a whole data centre.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Racking & stacking of routers, switches and firewalls
- Programming of servers
- Cabling
- Inventory management
- Level1 Networking skills i.e. troubleshooting devices
