Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to assist in a Melbourne based contract for a well-established organisation in the financial services sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying and maintaining automation objects in the key practice areas of - Configuration Management, Integration, Delivery, Testing and Cloud deployment/management.
Responsibilities:
• Automate, maintain and manage automation practices and delivery pipelines for availability, performance, scalability and security across the project systems and pipelines
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
• Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
Required Skills:
• Strong scripting experience in Python, Powershell
• Hands on container solution and micro services; Open Shift, Kubernetes, Dockers
• Implement CI using leading tools including Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, Apache, Tomcat, Chef Puppet, UCD, Git, BitBucket, Atlassian JIRA or similar tools
• Understanding of monitoring tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, Zabbix and Appdynamics
