You will be a key player in enabling the drive of business results by providing best-in-class digital platforms and services, whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Using agile engineering and delivery practices and operating under a DevOps model, you’ll guide and empower your team to deliver the digital roadmap. You’ll set the technical direction, own delivery and operational management, and ensure the right things are built and managed in the right way. Key to success will be the way in which you build relationships with key business stakeholders and your peers across the other technology domains.
Responsibilities Include
- Ownership and accountability for managing and operating a range of technology platforms to ensure they are highly available, resilient and scalable. These include: eCommerce Content management Self-service applications. Identity and Access Management.
- Define and maintain strategic roadmaps for the platforms and services within Core Engineering, including: Delivering an exceptional customer experience. Driving simplicity and efficiency. Highly available, stable and scalable services.
- Deliver complex and strategic programs of work, responsibilities include: Overseeing development and delivery managers. Approve technical solutions and approaches. Ensuring proper integration with a number of other platforms managed by other technology teams. Managing conflicting priorities; Championing Agile work practices;
Skills & Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience and delivery within the digital domain.
- Advanced knowledge of Continuous Integration practices;
- Experience delivering and managing large corporate platforms on Amazon Web Services.
- An understanding of CloudFront for content delivery and security;
- Strong experience with content management, eCommerce and self-service systems including integration with corporate and partner systems such as ERP and CRM solutions.
- Understanding of digital security concepts and practices, digital marketing solutions and practices, including SEO/SEM, content targeting, A/B testing, web analytics; Understanding of UX Design principles and experience with customer journeys and storyboards;
