Our client is a reputable operator within the oil & gas sector and has an exciting opportunity for a Network Analyst on an initial 9 month contract.

The successful candidate will be a part of team of Network Analysts within the Information Technology department reporting to the IT Support Lead. The main objective of this provide is to support, operate and maintain the Network including Project Control Networks, Telephony and Security systems for all Operational Sites. They will be required to provide technical support, troubleshooting and fault solutions of technical issues related to networking and telecommunication services as well as providing technical expertise and direction in in relation to design, review and implementation of solutions for major additions and upgrades.

They will seek opportunities to improve both Network and Telecommunication infrastructure and processes. By analysing network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements to network infrastructures. They will be required to liaise with the ITC Global Security Team regarding corporate security and firewall management and ensure Network and Telecommunication solutions conform to Corporate and legislative compliance requirements 

Suitable candidates must have Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) certification. Candidates must have experience in the configuration and maintenance of Cisco router, switches, security, wireless and IPT in an enterprise environment. Candidates should have a strong knowledge in a IP telephony environment and extensive knowledge of wider telecommunication subjects such as satellite, microwave and radio frequency.
