Datacom requires a highly skilled infrastructure system administrator within the IT Service Delivery Team.  The person will be required for a period of three (3) months and will work on our behalf for our well known government client. 
 
The ITS Service Delivery team is responsible for the operational management of the Department’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
 
Essential

• High level of Microsoft and VMware knowledge and experience (including Windows Server 2008 to 2016, Active Directory, DNS, DFS and file and print services)
• Highly developed SAN storage and backup skills and experience
• Broad knowledge, skills and experience in Information Technology and Server Infrastructure.
• Highly developed interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills.
• Self-managed but also able to follow directions

 Desirable

• Commvault data protection knowledge and experience
• Disaster Recovery knowledge and experience
• Nutanix Hyper-converged infrastructure knowledge

 
Deliverables

• Administer Microsoft server and network services and VMware vSphere 6.5.
• Provide advanced Backup administration and support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft infrastructure and application environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems/incidents relating to line of business applications
