Who we are:
For the Record (FTR) is the global leader at developing innovative technology to assist courts around the world to capture, store and distribute court recordings and transcript.
About the opportunity:
We are currently recruiting a driven senior account management professional who wishes to combine their passion for technology, with modernising the international justice community and improving access to justice for all.
We are using technology such as Blockchain and Natural Language Processing to create revolutionary products for courts and governments. Your job will be to share and discuss these technologies with customers, and ensure that we are delivering against strategic trends in the justice industry.
Role responsibilities
You will:
- Manage all existing FTR contracts in the APAC / EMEA region.
- Liaise with C-level executives to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Develop, and execute, a strategic plan to increase customer base in the region.
- Maintaining close relationship with clients. This includes frequent client visits, and providing regular updates about our product roadmap.
- Communicate customer requirements back to technical business units, and work with AV engineers to design the best solution for their needs.
- Advocate for clients within the business and work with various business units to ensure client requirements and needs are being met and exceeded.
- Assess FTR’s performance against agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Develop, manage, and report on new business opportunities and manage a sales pipeline.
- Monitor, and assist with developing innovative, comprehensive responses to, all new tender opportunities.
- Present regular and accurate reports for management for review.
- Regular domestic and international travel.
Essential:
- Bachelor of Arts/Business/Engineering/Science degree.
- 5+ year’s sales experience in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-sales / technology-related environment.
- Exceptional communication skills - attentive listener, excellent writing skills and polished public speaker.
- Strong technical skills and sales experience.
Desired:
- A technical background in audio/video is highly desirable.
- Experience working with cloud technologies and natural language processing.
- Familiar with Blockchain technology.
- Experience developing and managing strategic partnerships.
- Experience writing, co-ordinating and responding to tenders is highly desirable
