The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading and directing the integration of an ICT triggered transformation solution across the state. This position ensures high level stakeholder engagement and management, and has oversight for the identification of risks, problems and change management strategies, which are implemented to ensure delivery of this highly visible program of work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement organisational change management principles for the integration of systems into business practices that ensures all stakeholders have the opportunity for input into the integration process.
- Provide high-level strategic and specialist advice internally to the Program executives and externally for relevant specialist groups regarding the delivery and implementation of the solution.
- Provide expert advice to the Program Director to contribute to the development of the Strategy Plan for the Program
- Translating the Program objectives as defined by the Business Case, into appropriate deliverables and actions for the program, and the development of strategies to achieve these outcomes.
- Lead and direct Program staff and effectively manage to ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focused work cultur
Candidates must have:
- Extensive experience and an outstanding record of achievement in a program/project management leadership role in a large and complex IT service environment
- Have expert knowledge and demonstrated achievements in personnel, financial, vendor, program and project management skills and experience including program design, implementation, reporting and evaluation to ensure high quality deliverables
- Exceptional analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Thorough understanding of current trends and issues in the use of ICT in clinical and corporate settings
