This role is responsible for leading, directing, coordinating and providing visibility into the organisation's change management efforts. The candidate needs to have significant experience in creating change management strategies and work streams that maximise employee adoption and business benefit as well as experience in improving Financial Crime Compliance / AML
  
Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the KYC Stream focused on strengthening the culture of Financial Crime Compliance across the business
• Manage change management strategy and structured methodology and governance of change.
• Lead (where one is agreed on and needed) the establishment of a community of change agents and/or evangelists to put a face on change and leverage trusted informal leaders to create understanding among employees and influence successful organisational change.
• Provide senior leader engagement on major change impacts, this will include ensuring regular flow of information an updates on change readiness, risks and issues arising from change impact planning
• Support, consult and coach at all levels of the organisation: senior leaders, managers, supervisors and project teams
• Support communication efforts and contribute to communication strategy development to support organisation development and change initiatives
• Create tailored change management plans with respect to training and orientation to accommodate the needs of different stakeholder groups impacted by the change
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring around good change management practices to senior leadership and project managers to increase their effectiveness in driving sustainable change.
• Coordinate efforts with other specialists across the stream and internal stakeholders
• Define and measure success metrics and monitor and report on change progress

Knowledge and Skills
 

• Degree / post graduate qualifications are desirable
• An appropriate change management certification desirable
• Demonstrated experience in successfully leading change management process and strategy at an enterprise level in the public sector
• Ability to be strategic, but also happy to get your hands dirty and therefore own the development and delivery of your stream’s implementation plans.
• Experience within financial services and regulatory programs would be preferred, however, is not essential.
• Track record of successful organisational change management with achieving identified strategic business objectives and benefits
• Demonstrated experience in working with diverse teams.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, which are essential for interacting with key stakeholders at all levels across the project to manage, inform and influence successful project outcomes
• High EQ
• Experience and deep knowledge of change management methodologies, approaches and tools
• Good working knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies and project life cycles
• Possesses a distinctive blend of business acumen
• Broad understanding of IT organisation functions, and stays abreast of technology trends
• High level interpersonal and team skills, including the ability to work co-operatively and promote a positive team approach and the demonstrated ability to apply these with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and priorities multiple tasks- and achieve required timelines
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, is a self-starter and work autonomously in a dynamic workplace environment
