The company
This leading provider of specialised IT Solutions has recently won a large project with a global blue-chip organisation and as a result of this are looking for a Commvault Engineer to provide implementation, support and engineering services on Commvault products.
The role
- Monitor and maintain central and remote Backup infrastructures to Operational standards
- Work collaboratively with 3rd party support organisations to maintain the backup infrastructure to recommended standards
- Capacity planning and license management
- Assist with both high level and low level DR and backup designs
- Work collaboratively with the other members of the infrastructure systems team to resolve out of hour's infrastructure issues, including Storage and virtualisation technologies.
- Perform data/system backup, restore and integrity check operations.
- Assist the team with physical infrastructure installations and DC visits
Your skills
- Demonstrable experience in a similar pre-sales / architecture role.
- An excellent knowledge of Commvault.
- Commvault certification considered advantageous.
- Ant knowledge of VMWare and Storage would be considered advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
