The Role:

Our client requires a full-time Senior Technical Support Analyst. Experience in providing customer focused IT solutions and a proactive approach to maintaining internal processes and company culture is essential.

Your Duties:

  • Provide 2/3 level support
  • Support and guidance to level 1 and 2 technical staff
  • Client and management reporting
  • Queue management
  • Managing client expectations
  • Complete understanding of routing, switching and wiring security
  • Working with/implementing hosted VoIP solutions
  • Proactive approach to develop/improve internal systems
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Understand the value of solving the problem once
  • Available to work business hours Monday to Friday and occasional projects outside of business hours including weekends

Essential Skills:

  • 6-10 years’ experience
  • Reliable, confident, self-starter with a positive client focused attitude
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workloads and take ownership
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Understands the value of teamwork and the promotion of a positive team culture
  • Ability to think on your feet when under pressure with strong analytical troubleshooting skills
  • 6 plus years’ experience with a variety of Microsoft operating systems
  • Solid understanding of networking (Routing, Switching, Wireless and Security)
  • PC Hardware/software support experience
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle as travel will be required
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Ambition and drive will be highly regarded

Experience in the following:

-    6-10 years' experience in systems administration in a Managed Services environment

-    Client-facing account management role highly regarded

-    RMM/PSA Solutions – Such as Connectwise/ AutoTask/ Solarwinds

-    Windows Server Systems Administration skills – All aspects

-    Cisco CLi experience

-    Firewall experience either hardware or Software

Desirable Skills

-    SSL Certificates
-    VMWare/ESXi (desirable)
-    Server hardware – HP/IBM/Dell

-    VoIP PBX hardware experience
