MACQUARIE PARK, 6 Month Contract
FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
FinXL is looking to engage an Agile experienced Digital Business Analyst for business and consulting services for one of our high-profile clients on an initial six (6) month engagement.
As an Agile Digital Business Analyst, you will be responsible for contributing to and supporting the product vision and roadmap. You’ll gather information from the business stakeholders and define improvements to business processes, ensuring the solutions being designed and developed effectively and efficiently address business needs
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to fully understand the “why” of each Epic, focussing on solving Business stakeholders’ problems.
- Work with the team, Product Managers, Developers, and Testers break to Epics into clear, testable, user stories.
- Attend daily stand-ups with applicable Delivery teams
- Support the Product Managers to execute against the product roadmaps he/she has approved
- Prioritise the product backlog of requirements based on business value
- Attend demos to introduce and review new features/functionality with business stakeholders
- Sign off on requirements by his or her team; ensuring that the work item is agreed to and the acceptance criteria is met.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Digital, Online and Portal experience
- Experience in working within an agile environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Significant track record within fast paced (digital) environment
- Ability to articulate complex ideas, presentations and plans simply and with clarity at all levels across the organisation (e.g. from junior team members up to board level).
