We have an excellent permanent opportunity for a Data Scientist / R Programmer to join a market leading Australian firm from the Building & Construction industry.

This project is ongoing within the business. Our client have an IT team of over 100, with a number of long term contractors/consultants. There are several projects forecast after the initial program of work, that will require R Programming.

This particular project uses data from SAP/Trimble (a truck GPS system) & Tesys (an optimisation tool) to create monthly vehicle performance scorecards for individual trucks.

Our client have a scorecard currently in operation that the business requires assistance to understand, so part of your role will be to update & improve it and ensure that it can communicate information more easily to our client's operational staff.

Experience:

• Data Scientist / R Programming                                             
• Excellent communication skills/stakeholder experience

Desirable:

• Construction environment experience
