The team is made up of a variety of System Engineers and Big Data professionals and you will be given the chance to lead your own projects. Summary of the Position
- Perform Hadoop administration of the platform using the Big Data tools.
- Provide the Hadoop services and solutions.
- Respond to outstanding queries and provide a solution.
- Ingest data from multiple source systems.
Experience Expected
- Strong experience with Hadoop administration.
- Proven experience in software development using either shell scripting or Python.
- Understanding of Cloudera Hadoop clusters and Java or Scala development knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science/IT.
- Good communication skills in order to deal with various stakeholders.
- A passion for all things big data.
- Commercial experience is expected.
