Ignite is currently seeking 2x Cloud Engineers for their client for an initial 12 month contract.


Cloud Engineer

•  Hands-on experience as Build, Release, DevOps Engineer in large complex Windows and Linux environments
• 2+ years experience with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure

Azure and AWS environment

• Microsoft Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
• AWS CloudFormation
• Proficient in invoking cloud-based APIs, such as RESTful interfaces

Scripting and Agile CI/CD tools

• PowerShell
• PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) and Bash

Automation and orchestration

• Experience with one of the following platforms: – Desirable 
  - Microsoft Azure Automation 
  - AWS OpsWorks 
  - Other tools

Source code management

•  Familiarity with source code management tools
• Git, Apache Subversion (SVN) or Microsoft Team Foundation Server for Version Control (TFVC)

Networking and Security

• Knowledge and experience with AWS and Azure Cloud Security, firewalls, encryption, identity and access management, monitoring and security policy and compliance
• Understanding of cloud availability and scalability including load balancers and application gateways.
