Autodesk is seeking to hire a passionate Software Engineer student for our team in Kilsyth. As a Software Engineer student, you will help develop the framework for the next generation of simulation tools working with our amazing team of developers, scientists, and leading customers as well as agile development and user research methodologies. You will help shape the next generation of simulation and engineering tools with the Simulation R&D team. You will partner with researchers, interaction visual designers, and other software engineers to help define and deliver new cloud based workflows, test new concepts and assist in building prototypes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design, implementation, testing, and deployment of simulation software products (desktop, web)
- Apply core engineering principles to ensure quality, usability, and performance
- Define and build automation tools and test suites
- Perform code and system analysis to identify and fix defects
- Participate in agile development process, including daily scrum, sprint planning, code reviews, and quality assurance activities
